Rock ’n’ Roll ’n’ Crash ’n’ Burn?

The RAC Foundation has put out a press release about the effect on safety of listening to music whilst driving.

Number two on their list of the top five tracks to avoid is Firestarter by The Prodigy—and I wholeheartedly agree. A few years ago, driving home from work, I was waiting at some traffic lights and listening to Firestarter. As soon as the lights turned green, I pulled away so rapidly that I span my wheels. I was quite shocked, because it wasn’t something that I had intended to do, but was somehow subconsciously influenced by the aggressive music.
