I’ve actually been pretty lucky with the weather so far here in Belgium. Everyone says that it rains a lot although, coming from England, I thought that it can’t be much worse. However, apparently it is:

Q. Does it always rain in Belgium?
A. No, but it can rain a lot. The average rainfall is 852 mm per year, compared with 863 mm in the Netherlands and 635 mm in Britain. Italy is almost as wet as Belgium (812 mm), but it beats Belgium’s dismal 1,392 hours of sunshine a year and its average temperature of 11.2°C.

That’s according to Newcomer: An Introduction to Life in Belgium.

On an unrelated note, I’m still waiting for a reply from Microsoft about DRM licensing. Not even so much as a note to acknowledge that they are processing it.
