Getting paid to blog

Purely in the interests of self promotion, I thought I should write about something else I’ve been working on.

My job mainly consists of programming, although I’ve spent a lot of my time during the past few weeks filling in with deployment and system administration while our regular system administrator’s been off on holiday in China. It’s been an interesting, if occasionally stressful, experience, but I’m glad it’s over!

As of this week, though, I’ve been spending a small part of my time each day writing for the Reevoo company blog, Decide What to Buy. It’s early days, but I think we’re beginning to find a voice, and to come up with some interesting, timely, and entertaining content. So, you know, have a look!

And yes, this does mean that I am getting paid to blog!
