Samurai style

I sometimes feel that people brandish their burning cigarettes as if they were weapons, so I was inspired to remix one of Japan Tobacco’s weird smoking etiquette advertisements:

samurai style

    Very interesting!
Why not have the “arrowhead” of the dashed pointed to the opposite (i.e. from south to north) to show the original march route toward the sword?
It means “a step” or “half a step”? How to identify the icon of samurai?
Anyway, this is a great drawing! Cool, I like it!

I must admit, I didn’t put a lot of thought into it: I just copied the arrow direction off the original. Although I redrew everything, it’s very close to the existing design. I spent most of the time looking for fonts that weren’t too different from the ones used in the JT posters—not entirely successfully.
