Full to the brim
The Thames was particularly high this afternoon:
At the entrance to South Dock in Rotherhithe, it was just 80 cm from the brim (I’m aware that that’s not the technical term for it):
To put it in context, last week’s IPCC report estimates a worst-case sea level rise of 59 cm this century. That’s a bit close for comfort!
